KYOSHO ORIGINAL 1/43scale Nissan Silvia K's (S14) (White) [No.KSR43112W]
Description
■ Resin model
With a sales record of more than 300,000 in Japan, the blockbuster S13 fell in the compact tax bracket until it was superseded in 1993 by the 6th generation S14 Silvia. While inheriting similar basic proportions, the S14 featured a slightly rounded design that was the trend in Nissan sports cars at the time. This more mature style was intended to keep S13 drivers loyal to the Silvia as they themselves became older. The compact car regulations increased the degree of freedom in the suspension as well as handling stability and turning speed. The 2ℓ in-line 4-cylinder DOHC SR20 with the turbo in the K’s output 220ps, while the 160ps of the naturally aspirated engine was boosted by 15㎰ / 20ps in the Q’s and J’s respectively to take sports car performance a leap forward. This minicar is based on the minor change model released in 1996 with its edgy look from thin headlights and downward projecting front bumper that reclaimed identity with its predecessors. Silvia changed from a specialty sports car for adults to drive to a machine that emphasized its sports image. After that, a mixed flow turbine with an output of 250ps was added with the ‘Autec version K’s MF-T’.
