KYOSHO ORIGINAL 1/43scale Toyota GR Corolla Morizo Edition [No.KSR43126GR]

The GR Corolla dials up performance of the Corolla Sport hatchback with a 1.6-liter straight-3 turbo engine and full-time 4WD system. The most exclusive model in the range is the ‘Morizo Edition’, named after the pseudonym Toyota chairman and master driver Akio Toyoda uses when he takes to the racetrack. The production of this special version is limited to just 70 units.
As Toyota says, the GR is a grade that ‘reflects the wild tastes of customers’ and the Morizo Edition further refines the GR Corolla to take performance to another level. Compared to the regular GR, the Morizo Edition is 30kg lighter and its more Spartan specifications include the removal of the rear seats and fixed rear windows. In addition, the semi-bucket front seats deliver a more grip and stability.
Improved maximum torque and acceleration from the engine is complimented by smoother gear transition achieved by lowering the differential gear and creating a closer ratio between 1st and 3rd. Monotube shock absorbers and 10mm wider high-performance tires improve cornering performance. Body rigidity has also been increased by extending the structural adhesive application area and adding reinforcing braces.
Available in the model-exclusive Matte Steel exterior paint with the Morizo signature on the front window, the Morizo Edition appears only slightly different to the standard GR model, but the degree of evolution is immeasurable.
