The Toyota Century has undergone only two full model changes since it was first produced in 1967, making it one of Toyota’s super long-selling models. Only 50 cars are meticulously crafted each month. This ultra-low volume production car has been the face of Japanese luxury chauffeur-driven automobiles for more than half a century.

As many may already know, the Century Royal (based on the Century) has also been used as carriage for the Japanese imperial family, including the Emperor and Empress. The 3^rd generation Century released in 2018 maintains its dignified heritage while exhibiting a true sense of luxury. The new model further enhances its prestige ride with whisper-quiet performance from a 5ℓ V8 engine + hybrid system (total output 431㎰) that produces ample power with a smaller environmental impact. In addition, Toyota’s advanced ‘Safety Sense’ technology is incorporated into this flagship sedan. Each car is carefully finished by a skilled ‘takumi’ artisan and takes 6 weeks just for the phoenix emblem to be hand-engraved for the front grille and five days to complete the painting process. Such is the precision, there is only a 3.4mm gap between the door and the front fender. The best of Toyota’s craftmanship and advanced engineering creates a subtly high-tech car with elegance and refinement.
